Read on for some of the feedback we're hearing!

1794 Meetinghouse Concert
New Salem, MA
June 22, 2003

"How we enjoyed you last Sunday afternoon.  We volunteer at the
Meeting House in New Salem and were happy to forget the rain for
awhile!

Just to let you know, I am writing up a description of the
wonderment of your concert and hopefully, it may appear in the
Athol Daily News.

Thanks again for a marvelous performance.  It is great to see so
much talent.  Hope you will perform at the 1794 M-H next year,
and every year.  Much good luck to you both in the future."

"Nice selection - I especially enjoyed the Schumann."

"Thank you for playing music we can feel!"

1794 Meetinghouse Concert
New Salem, MA
June 16, 2002

“We really enjoyed the concert earlier today at the 1794 Meeting House. We had not been there previously --- it was wonderful, albeit a bit cool. And the music was exceptional, thanks to both you and Lisa."

“The concert was simply terrific, Gretchen -- your piano playing on THAT wonderful sounding instrument was just marvelous; Sylvina was particularly taken with YOUR performance, Gretchen, and Sharon and I were just dazzled by the aesthetic symmetry of the entire program.... The circle-of-fifths(?) sequences in the Kreisler were so magically alluded to in the Stravinsky, not to mention the rhapsodic meandering of the Fauré and Debussy!  It was a superb musical experience for all in attendance, that's for sure...... Congratulations!!"

“Meant to send you a follow-up note for the past couple of days. I thought you did a terrific job. You also appeared to be having fun.

I got the impression it was one the best audiences they've had this summer, thanks to your hard work.  Hope you were flattered by the number of folks who remembered your work from many years ago."

“We were enthralled by your concert!  It was wonderful and you two are so talented."

“That was REAL KREISLER!"

"Gretchen, HOW did you manage the long bass tremolo in the Kreisler?  It was expressive, unobtrusive and supportive all at the same time.  Beautiful!"

"You imitated each other exactly in the 2nd Debussy, and also in the Brahms."

Post-concert e-roses from California
